ANNAVALE ANIMAL CARE

At home at present, I have:

​

Face, 10 year old liver & white Pointer,

Eva (8), Holly (2.5) & Hunter (1.5), the Gordon Setters, and

Tilly (2) & Hendricks (10 weeks!!), the Weimaraners. 

As a breeder of Weimaraners and Gordon Setters, there are occasionally puppies around now and again, too!

I show most of my dogs, have made up Show Champion weimaraners, gordon setters and pointers, and have bred weimaraners who have become champions in Poland, Germany, and South Africa.  I also judge dogs at the highest level, and judged at Crufts in 2018.

The most well-known dog I've owned is the Gordon Setter - James, aka Show Champion Lourdace Fulcrum.  James was three times Best of Breed at Crufts, Best Gundog at Crufts 2016, and in 2018 became the all-time top winning male Gordon Setter in the history of the breed in the UK.

But, there's more than just dogs...

Roaming around the fields and woods at Annavale I also have the flock of top-winning Annavale Pedigree Shetland Sheep, a selection of chickens including our pure-bred Light Sussex, four (noisy!) guinea fowl, and a few ducks and geese. 

​

Being a lover of the countryside I always do my best to ensure we attract as much wildlife as possible, and I regularly see blackbirds, songthrushes, swallows, bullfinches, wagtails, wild ducks, herons, and have even been known to have owls living here too.
